Purpose-Built Transformer for Cool-Only Air Handlers
This step-down transformer is specifically designed to convert 480V 3-phase incoming power into 208/230V single-phase output, making it ideal for powering single phase cool-only (no heat strip) air handlers.
If you’re working in a commercial or light industrial setting where 480V 3-phase is standard, but your air handler requires 208/230V single-phase, this transformer provides a clean and reliable solution. Many manufacturers in systems 3 to 5 ton do not make an air handler that is 480v/3ph.
What This Transformer Does Do:
- Steps down 480V 3-phase power → 208/230V single-phase
- Provides stable voltage conversion for HVAC blower operation

What This Transformer Does NOT Do:
