Description

The G5-OC Outward Clinch Tacker is a heavy-duty manual stapling tool designed primarily for the mechanical insulation, HVAC, and industrial packaging trades. Unlike a standard staple gun, it bends (or “clinches”) the staple legs outward after they pass through the material, creating a secure hold without requiring a backing anvil or damaging the material underneath

Key features

  • Outward clinch action: Staple legs flare outward instead of driving straight into a substrate.
  • Heavy-duty construction: Built for repetitive industrial use with a direct-drive mechanism and recoil-reducing shock absorber.
  • Front-loading magazine: Makes loading staples and clearing jams easier.
  • Staple capacity: Approximately 84 staples.

Typical applications

  • Securing fiberglass and pipe insulation
  • HVAC duct wrap and insulation jackets
  • Wire stitching insulation
  • Attaching labels to corrugated cartons without puncturing the contents
  • Other industrial fastening jobs where outward clinching provides better holding power
